ANNIE PELL
Our Own Orphan Annie!

Meet Little Orphan Annie...not the comic strip character, but the real one! And she's from a quaint little town nestled in the hills overlooking Lake Michigan in Door County, Wisconsin. A true movie setting. Annie and her husband, Loren, operate, what else? A quaint little inn that was converted from an old time schoolhouse. It's a real charmer and anyone wanting to vacation there would not be unhappy. It's very, very restful. But things weren't always so restful for Annie for she came down with torticollis sometime in the early 1980's. At the time she was solely into antiques - buying, refinishing and selling - a tough job. As you can imagine, all the energy that goes into that sort of occupation exacerbated the symptoms of torticollis plus, when she would go out into the town and be seen by people who she had known for years, she would be looked at. It was a very discouraging time for Annie. Eventually, she had a prosthetic device made for her neck and that helped. Then, in the early nineties, she and Loren decided to renovate the schoolhouse and, after Annie had the successful selective denervation surgery from Dr Carlos Arce, they went full steam ahead and they now have a beautiful 8 room (all of more than ample size) inn. ST did not deter her. In fact, if you want to have an enjoyable, peaceful time and meet two great people try Little Orphan Annie's. You won't regret it. Another great example of what a person with ST can do.
